COURSES
A typical 4 session course structure would be
Day 1/Lesson 1 
 Brief introduction to mosaic.The different types of mosaic methods.
 The applications of the direct method.The advantages  
of glass, over other materials.
 • Design and colour. Possibilities, drawing, limitations
• Planning the design and execution. •Choosing a design,
 and considering how to adapt a design.
• Thinking  about the medium and its properties.
Day 2/Lesson 2
     Starting to cut glass. Basic squares. • Using the glass-cutting 
    tool. • Further uses in cutting glass. • Basic shapes, squares, 
    triangles etc. • Beginning the chosen design. • Step-by-step tutorial 

Day 3/Lesson 3

 Different methods for cutting glass
• Direct drawing on glass and how to then to plan cut the glass.
 •The use of stencils and cutting other forms. 
• Continuation of execution of chosen design. 
• Step-by-step tutorial
Day 4/Lesson 4 
 Cementing, grouting and cleaning.• Step-by-step tutorial 
• Finishing the chosen design.
The course will be 4 mornings of 3 hours;
 a total of 10 hours, held over 4 consecutive weeks. 
The price will be 100 euros for the course, with an additional 10 euros
 to cover the cost of glass, wood,and cement.

 Students can bring a picture or photos as design inspiration.
Classes will be of a maximum of 7 students. 
I will also be offering 6 session courses in 2007.
giving students more time to develop their skills.
